About Me

My first serious camera was a Minolta SRT101 purchased in 1972. Over the next few years, I set up a darkroom and eventually developed B&W and colour both negatives and positives as well as printing in both B&W and colour. I also experimented with transferring B&W images onto metal.

I had a long break from photography before purchasing a Canon mirrorless camera (the RP model) in 2021 and I have been on an intensive learning experience since then. I was always drawn to photographing people, so that has been my recent focus.

I have enjoyed photographing models both in and out of a studio setting, and particularly like experimenting with different lighting techniques.
